The "Straight Ahead Jazz Quartet / Quintet" stays true to the great Quintets from the the '50's and '60's.... Miles Davis, Benny Golson, Hank Mobley, Art Blakey, Lee Morgan, Clifford Brown, Kenny Dorham......... Just to name a few..
The "Straight Ahead Jazz Quartet / Quintet" is comprised of:
Greg Kettinger (Guitar)
A
multi-instrumentalist with a degree in music. Greg spends his winter days
teaching music at Temple University. Along with numerous studio and live
performance credits, Greg has been sought after by numerous bands for his young,
yet vastly experienced talent. Greg is no stranger to "the circuit",
he has been performing in the New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania area since he
was 16. Some of his other
studio and performance credits include; Woody Herman, Red Rodney and other
local, as well as national artists.
Tony DelMoore (Percussion) A world class drummer, Tony has been performing since he was 13 years old... A groove drummer, Tony is the soul of the Straight Ahead Jazz experience.
Joe McAnally (Keys) An Alumnus of Temple University's Music Program, Joe is a virtuoso keyboardist that captures every feel and sound to cover that wonderful "soul groove". Joe has performed with numerous local and regional acts while doing various national recording dates.
Mark Amentt (Upright Bass) A multi-instrumnentalist with a deep passion for bass, Mark has performed with Richie Cole, Jackie King (Guitar virtuoso from Texas) Just to name a few. Mark currently holds the bass chair with the Big Horn Cavaliers (Big Band) along with filling in with various big bands from here to NYC. A Philadelphia native, Mark has been performing for over 25 years.
Michael Andrews (Vocals) he spirit of Joe Williams and Johnny Hartman are channeled through Michael.. A rich and velvety baritone, Mike's charasmatic personality captures everyone's attention.

Tony Cinkutis (Trumpet / Flugel) Tony has performed and / or recorded with everyone from Shirley Bassey to Al Martino. A seasoned pro, Tony has been performing in the Philadelphia area since the mid 70's.
Sal Ciccone (Percussion) A "fixture" in the Jersey Jazz Scene, Sal is a seasoned pro with various performance and recording dates to his credit.
Tom Verdi (Tenor / Alto Saxes / Flute) A Trenton native, Tom carries the torch for the Trenton Jazz scene. Tom has performed with Richie Cole and other local Jazz "heroes".
